As so many have become aware and awaken to so much ugliness in the heart of our country, I want to remind those of us who have always known and lived with the reality of hatred and ignorance due to our looks, that many of our fellow human beings are just now accepting and seeing the continued, relentless horrors, and that they are also suffering.

It is a very difficult thing to realize that their inner world has to shift because if it doesn’t, it means the continued pain and suffering of others. It takes time and strength to do so. Let’s make sure we have compassion for this necessary transition💜
